HELLO EVERYBODY!
It's time for our annual KhSA NEW YEARS SHOW! This year our show is about the Khmer folktale of Moni Mekhala.
Join us for a night full of Khmer culture! From the food to the language to the dancing - be prepared to have fun with Khmer-Americans from all around the greater Seattle area!
At the show we'll be selling UW KhSA swag, raffle tickets for awesome gift baskets, and we'll also be raising funds for our high school SCHOLARSHIP!!
New Year Show Synopsis:
The show is a tale about the pair, the rain goddess Moni Mekhala, and a Yeak (giant, ogre) by the name of Ream Eyso, who are siblings as well as rivaling students of a powerful hermit who, together, bring life to lighting, thunder, and rain to the land of Cambodia.
We're going to sell tickets the first two weeks of Spring quarter so come find us in Red Square between 10am - 3pm!
