Our theme for Winter Quarter 2015 is "The Gospel" based off of 1 Corinthians 15:14, John 3:16, and Romans 1:16. Join us every Tuesday for Large Group and Thursday for Small Group at 7:00PM to dig deeper into what Jesus has in store for us.

The Gospel is the foundation of our faith as Christians. It’s the greatest act of love and the only hope that we have in a broken, sinful world that God loved us so much that He sent His one and only Son, Jesus, God in the flesh, to die on a cross to pay the penalty for our sins. By His resurrection, He defeated sin and death, so that everyone who turns from their sin and trusts in Him as their Lord and Savior will be reconciled to God and experience eternal life with Him in Heaven. We’re called to bear witness and to share this gospel to the ends of the earth, and yet, many of us struggle to understand it for ourselves and apply it to our lives, much less explain it to our friends and family.
During fall quarter, the invitation was made to come and hear about our God who is and loves us far more than we could ever imagine. This quarter, we want to build upon that, and dive into how exactly He loves us, by unpacking the Gospel from many different angles and intentionally diving into how the Gospel defines our identity as Christians as well as directly influences everything that we do.
This Gospel is so big, so powerful, and so life giving and important that it deserves our full attention. While we can’t possibly unpack the full richness and intricacies of the Gospel in just one quarter, we hope that this winter will be a foundationlaying one, both on an individual level as well as a communal one for AAIVUW as a whole. We hope that as we deepen our understanding of the Gospel, that God will reveal more of Himself to us, that our love for Him will grow, that our relationships will become more Christcentered, and that we will become more confident and more compelled to share the Gospel and live out the Great Commission.
